DES Energy Ltd offers electric vehicle charging services through a dedicated web driver portal and/or mobile application (the “service”).

  • Operator User

Business user’s points of contact, operators, and admins. Examples: first name, last name, email, mobile phone number, country, city, county, address, and postal code.

Purpose for processing - To manage our business user’s account and to provide the service and related support. This is to perform the contract with you, either as an individual user or as a legal person, in which case the contract performance is in our respective legitimate interest

  • End-User

End-user identity, billing, and contact information, such as registration information. Examples: first name, last name, email, mobile phone number, country, city, county, address, postal code, and remote keyless system identifier if implemented.

Purpose for processing - To manage our business user’s account and to provide the service and related support. This is to perform the contract with you, either as an individual user or as a legal person, in which case the contract performance is in our respective legitimate interest

  • Website Visitor

Contact information provided via our website forms or various email addresses.

Purpose for processing - To make it easy for you to contact us. This is based on our legitimate interest, provided that such processing shall not outweigh your rights and freedoms. If you contact us to request an offer, the information entered in the contact form will be processed for the purpose of carrying out pre-contractual measures.

We may process other types of personal information when required for complying with a legal obligation.

4. How long do we keep your personal information?

Personal information will be generally retained if necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected the personal information described above. Once you, your company and/or our business-user have terminated the contractual relationship with us or otherwise ended your relationship with us, we may retain your personal information to ensure adequate fulfilment of surviving provisions in terminated contracts or for other legitimate business purposes, such as to evidence our business practices and contractual obligations, to provide you with information about our products and services, or to comply with applicable legal, tax, or accounting requirements in accordance with statutory limitation period from local laws.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need nor lawful legal ground to process your personal information, we will delete, anonymize, or aggregate it or, if this is not possible, then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Third Party Providers

  • Schneider Electric

Our service integrates an online platform developed by Schneider Electric, our contractor. When you use our services, Schneider Electric will process on our behalf the personal information you provide us.

This Notice does not cover processing activities of Schneider Electric acting as an independent Data Controller, for example where collecting usage information obtained from internet-connected devices to analyse, to improve, to secure and to develop its platform.   • Google Maps

The service includes Google Maps features and content.

Google Maps is an online maps service developed by the company Google Inc, which features can be used for identifying locations on a map, both to focus the map at the correct location and to place any optional placemarks at locations on the map.

Through the integration of Google Maps, we allow our customers to provide real-time information about charging point locations. This particularly allows our customers to manage their electric charging supply equipment and enables end-users of those services to spot electric vehicle charging stations close to their glocalization or near a specific address.

  • Braintree

We use Braintree as a third-party credit card payment processing service. Payment data submitted on our service will be processed by PayPal. In such circumstances, PayPal as a third-party provider, and not us, process the payment data, including any personal information, acting as an independent Data Controller. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect personal information and we maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, and unauthorized alteration.

  • Access your account information dashboard by clicking on your account name, located in the top-right-corner of the managing platform, and then select the “Account” option which will appear on the dropdown menu.
  • Download your information by selecting the “Request Usage Data” option located in the bottom-left area of the account information dashboard under the “Details” tab.
  • Access and edit your “User Details” section by selecting the “Edit Details” option located in the top-right area of the account information dashboard under the “Details” tab.
  • Delete information by selecting the “Remove Usage Data” option located in the bottom-left area of the account information dashboard under the “Details” tab. Please note that we may not delete information if processing remains necessary by virtue of a legal provision.
  • Ask us to stop the processing of your personal information on grounds relating to your situation if we are relying on our own or a third party's legitimate interests to process your personal information, except if we can demonstrate compelling legal grounds for the processing.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on your consent for processing your personal information.
  • Ask us to limit the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances, such as where you contest its accuracy, or when you object to us, pending verifications.
  • In certain circumstances, request personal information you've provided us with, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
