DES Energy have recently completed a SolarEdge PV installation on the Addison Engineering Workshop in Thornton-Cleveleys. The 86.9kWp system with 3-phase Inverter produces over 72,000kWh per year. Power Optimisers maximise the efficiency of each panel grouping by allowing every module to perform at capacity even if another in the group is currently under shade.
Addison Engineering provides first class engineering support services to a wide range of industries. This purpose-built fabrication, repair and servicing workshop utilises the very latest engineering techniques, including a 3D laser scanner and modelling design software. The solar PV system will contribute to the site’s energy consumption, in line with all the Addison businesses group goal of embedding sustainability into their daily operations.
The system represents a reduction of 16.95 tonnes of CO2 per year and its performance is monitored daily by our dedicated Data Analysts who provide periodic reports.
